Maravanthe can easily be included in a wider Byndoor coastal journey. Trasi beach Park lies nearby, while the road towards Byndoor leads to places such as Ottinene, Someshwara Beach and other coastal viewpoints.
Travellers heading inland can also continue towards Kollur and the Mookambika Temple, making Maravanthe a convenient stop between the coast and the Western Ghats.

Best time to visit

The months from October to March are generally comfortable for exploring the beach and surrounding areas. The monsoon transforms the landscape into a much greener setting, but the Arabian Sea can become rough and beach activities may be restricted by conditions.

Maravanthe is directly accessible through NH66, making it one of the easiest coastal destinations to visit by road in Byndoor. The beach is situated between the Kundapura and Byndoor sides of the coastal highway.
